Job summary

Impact Life, Inc. seeks a Clinical Supervisor to lead outpatient, social prescribing, and rural health hub programs across Delaware. The role includes clinical leadership, supervision, and program oversight with a potential small caseload to maintain direct patient care.

The successful candidate will supervise staff, ensure quality and compliance, and collaborate with medical and community partners to strengthen integrated care and access to services throughout the state.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Current Delaware clinical licensure.
  • Experience providing behavioral health and/or substance use disorder treatment.
  • Knowledge of person-centered, recovery-oriented, trauma-responsive, and harm reduction approaches.
  • Strong understanding of integrated care, community-based services, and social determinants of health.
  • Ability to travel regularly between Impact Life locations throughout Delaware.

Responsibilities

  • Provide statewide clinical oversight across Outpatient, Social Prescribing, and Rural Health Hub programming.

  • Oversee outpatient behavioral health and IOP services and monitor program quality, engagement, and outcomes.
  • Provide clinical guidance to wellness-related programming and integrate care across services.
  • Maintain a small clinical caseload as needed.
  • Monitor quality, compliance, and program development; assist with policy and workflow creation.

Clinical Supervisor - Outpatient, Social Prescribing & Rural Health Hub

Location: Primarily New Castle County, Delaware with statewide travel
Position Type: Full-Time

About the Role

Impact Life is seeking an experienced, collaborative Clinical Supervisor to provide clinical leadership, supervision, and program oversight across our integrated Outpatient, Social Prescribing, and Rural Health Hub services throughout Delaware.

This position plays a key role in ensuring consistent, high-quality clinical services while supporting Impact Life's whole-person, community-based approach to care. The Clinical Supervisor oversees outpatient behavioral health services, including Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP), as well as wellness and clinically related programming delivered through our Outpatient, Social Prescribing, and Rural Health Hub models. The position may also maintain a small clinical caseload based on program needs.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership & Supervision

  • Provide statewide clinical oversight across Outpatient, Social Prescribing, and Rural Health Hub programming.
  • Provide clinical supervision, consultation, coaching, and support to outpatient clinical staff.
  • Support clinical decision-making related to assessment, treatment planning, level of care, referrals, transitions, and discharge planning.
  • Review clinical documentation and provide guidance related to quality, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Support staff with complex cases and coordination of internal and community-based resources.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, training, and professional development of clinical staff.

Outpatient & IOP Oversight

  • Oversee clinical operations and continued development of outpatient behavioral health and IOP services.
  • Support programming for individuals with mental health, substance use, co-occurring, and other behavioral health needs.
  • Monitor program quality, engagement, utilization, outcomes, and continuity of care.
  • Partner with leadership to strengthen and expand outpatient services.

Integrated Care & Wellness

  • Provide clinical guidance to wellness-related programming across Outpatient, Social Prescribing, and Rural Health Hub services.
  • Support integration between behavioral healthcare, primary healthcare, Social Prescribing, recovery supports, and community-based services.
  • Help develop pathways connecting participants with clinical services, primary care, peer and recovery support, wellness activities, healthcare, and community resources.
  • Support coordination between clinical and non-clinical teams to improve access, engagement, and continuity of care.

Direct Clinical Services

  • Maintain a small clinical caseload as needed.
  • Conduct assessments, individual or group counseling, treatment planning, and other clinical services within applicable licensure and scope of practice.
  • Provide clinical coverage or support during periods of increased program need.

Quality, Compliance & Program Development

  • Monitor clinical quality and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Participate in chart reviews, quality assurance, program evaluation, and corrective action planning.
  • Assist with development and implementation of clinical policies, procedures, workflows, and documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with medical providers, nursing, peer support, outreach, recovery services, program leadership, and community partners.
  • Support clinical data collection and outcome measurement.
  • Participate in statewide planning and implementation as Impact Life's outpatient and integrated care continuum continues to grow.
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Current Delaware clinical licensure.
  • Experience providing behavioral health and/or substance use disorder treatment.
  • Knowledge of person-centered, recovery-oriented, trauma-responsive, and harm reduction approaches.
  • Strong understanding of integrated care, community-based services, and the social factors that influence health and recovery.
  • Ability to collaborate across behavioral health, medical, peer, recovery, and community-based service systems.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly between Impact Life locations throughout Delaware.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) credential.
  • Experience with outpatient behavioral health services and IOP.
  • Previous clinical supervision or leadership experience.
  • Experience working with individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use needs.
