Job summary

AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital – Lafayette is seeking a Night Shift Clinical Supervisor (RN) to oversee nursing practice and ensure quality patient care. You will coordinate staffing, mentor staff, and partner with the CCO to maintain standards.

The role requires Louisiana RN licensure, BLS, and 1–2 years in rehab or med-surg. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered for qualifying candidates, with shift differentials for nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Current Louisiana RN license in good standing.
• CRRN certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical nursing practice during night shifts.
• Ensure continuity in nursing decisions and standards.
• Act as a resource for nursing staff and represent administration as needed.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians/CCO/CEO.
• Provide direct patient care when staffing dictates.
• Maintain professionalism and accountability in the unit.

While on duty is authorized and designated by theChief Clinical Officer (CCO) to assume overall responsibility for clinicalnursing practice. Provides for continuity in decision making and consistency innursing practice by assuring that nursing and hospital standards and objectivesare met. Acts as a resource and support person for the nursing staff.Representsadministration during any event occurring their absence.Embracesand demands a culture of professionalism and accountability. Responsiblefor fostering a positive milieu. Keeps CCO and CEO apprised of situations thatmay place facility at risk. Provides direct patient care as required based onstaffing and patient acuity. Communicates with physicians/CCO/co-workers, as appropriateabout changes in patient’s clinical condition.Responds quickly and accurately to changes incondition or response to treatment.

Job Requirements

• Graduateof an accredited school of nursing.
• CurrentLouisiana Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure in good standing.
• One -two years rehab or med-surg experience or training
• CRRNCertification preferred
• BLSCertification.
• Abilityto read and communicate effectively and positively in English.
• Possessexcellent interpersonal and positive human relation skills
