Premiere Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Clinical Nurse Supervisor RN for the Neonatal ICU in Lynwood, CA. Night shifts are available with weekly pay up to $2,791.08 gross.

Responsibilities include departmental planning, staff training, and collaboration with the unit Director. Licensure in California is required along with BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and CCRN certifications; at least 1 year of charge nurse experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Current California Registered Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire and maintained.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire and maintained.
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification upon hire and maintained.
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification upon hire and maintained.
• Current Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification upon hire and maintained.
• Minimum of 1 year of Charge Nurse or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Supports administrative responsibility for the department service functions and collaborates with the unit Director/Manager.
• Develops and implements departmental plans including performance improvement activities and regulatory compliance.
• Oversees department orientation and training of personnel; communicates with staff, physicians, and administration in writing and verbally.
• Responsible for staff quality and function during shifts and supports daily operations of the unit.
• Performs direct patient care as needed within the scope of practice and guides care plan adjustments.

Responsibilities

The Clinical Supervisor supports administrative responsibility for the department service functions and works collaboratively with the unit Director and/or Manager. In the absence of the unit Director and/or Manager, the Clinical Supervisor may assume the administrative scope of the unit assigned. Develops and implements departmental plans, including performance improvement activities and compliance with current federal and/or state regulations. The Clinical Supervisor prepares, conducts and/or oversees department(s) orientation and training of personnel. Communicates with staff, physicians, and administration both written and verbally. The Clinical Supervisor is responsibility and accountable for the quality of staff and functions during their shift. Assists the Department Director in the daily operations of the unit, directing, supervising, and evaluating personnel, ensuring the proper use of time, equipment and staff. Ensure the efficient functions of the department. Performs direct patient care, only as needed, within the scope of practice. Continually assess care and direct staff to make immediate changes in the plan of care.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Current and valid California Registered Nurse license
• Current Basic Life Support certificate (BLS) upon hire and maintain current.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire and maintain current
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) upon hire and maintain current
• Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) upon hire and maintain current
• Current Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certificate upon hire and maintain current
• Minimum of once (1) year of Charge Nurse or equivalent experience required.

Pay Transparency

Premiere Healthcare Staffing offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $61.22 to $77.53 per hour. This compensation estimate is specific to California and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
