Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is recruiting for a clinically skilled supervisor to oversee treatment services for the Pennsylvania Clinical Assessment Team. This remote, licensed role focuses on supervision of counselors, treatment planning, and program development within the facility’s clinical philosophy.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree with licensure or CAADC certification and have substantial experience in addiction and mental health services, with the ability to manage crises and maintain

Qualifications

Master’s Degree in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling with licensure (CAADC) and 2 years of clinical experience including 1 year with chemically dependent.
Master’s Degree with licensure in progress or CADC certification and 2 years of clinical experience including 1 year with chemically dependent.
Bachelor level with CADC or pursuing CADC with 1 year of qualifying clinical experience and 3 years total clinical experience.
Associates Degree with CAAC and 4 years of clinical experience including 1 year with chemically dependent.

Responsibilities

Facilitate development of treatment plans and maintain notes with counselors.
Lead treatment team meetings and participate in case consults.
Provide individual and group supervision to counselors and staff as assigned.
Maintain caseload and support facility leadership in program development.
Ensure clinical programming runs daily as scheduled.

This role will be remote for Pyramid Healthcare Inc's Pennsylvania Clinical Assessment Team and applicants are required to reside and be licensed in the state of Pennsylvania.

Summary:

Responsible for facilitating and supervision of all clinical services for program as outlined by facility standards and in accordance with clinical philosophy of program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists the counselors in the development of the treatment plans and maintenance of notes.
Facilitates treatment team meetings and participates in case consults.
Provides individual and group supervision to the counselors and other staff as assigned.
Maintains caseload as needed.
Assists the facility leadership in developing new programs for the facility.
Lists to clients concerning all areas of treatment.
Maintains safe, orderly and therapeutic environment for clients including crisis intervention.
Ensures clinical programming occurs daily as scheduled.
Completion of all required trainings as designated by the company and accreditation/licensing entities.
Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Day-to-Day supervision and training of clinical department staff.
Licensure supervision of clinical staff appropriate to discipline.

Required QualificationsEducation, Licensure, & Experience

ASAM aligned substance programs must meet one of the below requirements:Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling with a Master’s level licensure: Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling or certification by a state wide certification board (CAADC) and 2 years of clinical experience in a health and human services agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent.
Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling and are working towards a Master’s level licensure (Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling), or certification by a state wide certification board (CAADC), and 2 years of clinical experience in a health and human services agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent.
Bachelors Level with a CADC or are working towards a CADC with a minimum of one year of qualifying clinical experience, and 3 years of clinical experience in a health and human services agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent.
Associates Degree with a CAAC and 4 years of clinical experience in a health and human services agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent.
Full certification as an addictions counselor by a statewide certification body and 3 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent person. The individual shall also complete a Department approved core curriculum training prior to hire which includes a component on clinical supervision skills.
ASAM aligned Co-Occurring enhanced programs must meet one of the below requirements:Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling with a Master’s level licensure: Marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling or certification by a state wide certification board (CAADC) and 2 years of clinical experience in a health and human services agency which includes 1 year of working directly with the chemically dependent.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet & indoors. This position will require local travel. This position will be scheduled based on operational need & will be required to provide own transportation.
