Job summary

Capitol Home Health in Central Texas seeks a Clinical Supervisor to coordinate patient care, ensure services are delivered, and manage care activities. The role supervises clinical staff and provides training, mentoring and coaching as needed.

The ideal candidate is an RN with supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and a working knowledge of OASIS. A bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred, with home health experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Current Texas RN license in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• At least 1–2 years acute care experience and home health experience.
• 1–2 years of management or supervisory experience in health care.
• CPR certification with in-person skills evaluation.
• Knowledge of OASIS documentation requirements.

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that care is coordinated, services are delivered, and care managed appropriately. The Clinical Supervisor supervises all clinical staff and provides training, mentoring and coaching as necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current and unencumbered license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program, preferred.
• One (1) to two (2) years of recent acute care experience in an institutional setting.
• One (1) or more years of home health care experience.
• One (1) to two (2) years of management or supervisory experience in health care setting, preferably home care.
• Possess and maintain valid CPR Must have obtained in-person with a practical skills evaluation as part of the final test.
• Working knowledge of OASIS documentation requirements, required.
• Complies with accepted professional standards.
• Demonstrates excellent observation, verbal and written communication.
• Access to reliable transportation.
