Job summary

New Oakland Family Centers seeks a Clinical Supervisor to oversee PHP operations and outpatient services in collaboration with the Clinical Director. The role involves supervising both clinical and administrative staff, ensuring adherence to policies, and delivering compassionate, person-centered care to diverse client populations.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field and active Michigan licensure, with 1–3 years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or psychology.
• Active Michigan clinical licensure (TLLP/LLMSW/LLP acceptable; full licensure preferred).
• 1–3 years of progressively responsible clinical experience.
• Experience collaborating with New Oakland clinical staff in a team capacity.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily management of PHP operations with Director/Associate Director.
• Provide leadership and supervision to administrative and clinical staff.
• Ensure implementation of best practices and adherence to agency policies.
• Maintain professional boundaries with clients and staff.
• Deliver high-quality therapeutic services including assessments, intakes, individual, family, and/or group therapy.
• Develop treatment plans and clinical notes in a timely, accurate manner.
• Coordinate discharge planning and ensure continuity of services.
• Complete documentation per policies and procedures.
• Mentor incoming PHP staff at assigned locations.
• Participate in clinic operations including HR, billing, QA, and compliance.
• Lead program development, evaluate effectiveness, and engage in public outreach.
• Ensure billing compliance across Medicare/Medicaid/private insurance.
