Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to join our unit-based leadership team in Atlanta. You will supervise nursing operations on a designated unit and, in the absence of the Manager or Director, may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.

Works with a unit-specific patient population and supports staff development and quality care across shifts. This role requires strong clinical expertise and collaboration across healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Three (3) years experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
• Or Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with two (2) years of experience in clinical area with a minimum of one (1) year in area of specialty.
• Current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Compact (NLC/eNLC) or Multistate license.
• Must hold Certification in American Heart Association's Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS).
• Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Supervisor is a member of the unit-based leadership team.
• Provides supervision of the nursing operations of a unit.
• In the absence of the Manager or Director may assume 24-hour nursing responsibility.
• Works with a unit specific patient population.
