Ellie Mental Health is seeking an experienced Clinical Supervisor to lead our Williamsburg team and supervise residents in a busy, fee-for-service setting. You will oversee on-site clinical staff, maintain a weekly caseload of 18 patients, and ensure high-quality treatment across the clinic.

The role emphasizes mentorship, compliance with state regulations, and collaboration with the clinical director to drive quality care and staff development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and Virginia LCSW license with Virginia Board Approved Supervisor designation.
• On-site availability to supervise staff and see patients in Yorktown, VA.
• Experience supervising LMSW therapists and in fee-for-service private practice clinical supervisor roles.
• Ability to manage a weekly patient load of 18 clients.

Responsibilities

We are looking to bring on an experienced Clinical Supervisor to join the leadership team at our Williamsburg location!

The perfect candidate will be comfortable seeing 18 clients per week, while providing supervision to a small team of residents.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a therapist with some management-level experience. • Have a strong resume with at least 1-2 years of experience working in a fee-for-service private practice clinical supervisor-level role.
• Have experience providing clinical supervision to LMSW therapist

Required Skills/Abilities

• Master’s degree with current licensure in the state of Virginia as an LCSW and a Virginia Board Approved Supervisor.
• Be available to be on-site to provide oversite to clinical staff and see patients in Yorktown, Va.
• Passionate about quality evidence-based treatment and contributing to the field by training and supervising others.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong working knowledge of state requirements regulating mental health practice.

Under the guidance of the Clinical Director:

Tasks & Responsibilities

Supervision and Consultation

• Be responsible for the overall performance and management of residents under supervision
• Accountable for clinician productivity and performance, using data to monitor and drive decisions
• Provide clinical oversight to the clinic’s Mental Health Practitioners and Professionals, including signing clinical documentation for pre-licensed providers.
• Provide 1:1 consultation with all therapy staff to review productivity, caseload, and clinical documentation

Client Care

• Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
• Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed

Clinic Outreach, Marketing, and Networking

• Participate and lead clinic’s community outreach and engagement efforts, in collaboration with the franchise owner and consistent with guidance from Ellie Outreach Team.
• Collaborate with Ellie's Marketing Team to promote the clinic’s online visibility.
