About Vital Start Health:

Vital Start Health is transforming family mental health through personalized support integrated with virtual reality (VR) technology. Our mission is to provide holistic, culturally responsive mental health support for pregnant and postpartum individuals—as well as their partners. By integrating VR-based interventions with evidence-based care through insurance, we help families navigate the emotional challenges of pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to serve as a Clinical Supervisor for our Qualified Mental Health Professionals (QMHPs). This supervisory role involves conducting weekly case reviews and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care. The position is fully remote.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide weekly supervision to QMHPs through case reviews and consultations.
2. Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and ethical standards.
3. Offer guidance on complex cases and support professional development of supervisees.
4. Collaborate with the management team to enhance service delivery and implement quality improvement initiatives.
5. Maintain documentation of supervision sessions in compliance with organizational policies.
6. Sign off on SOAP notes in states where you are licensed.

Required Qualifications:

1. Active LCSW license in good standing and enrolled with payors; willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
2. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity, in maternal or partner care.
3. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote supervision.
4. Strong understanding of maternal mental health and perinatal care.
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience working with diverse populations and a commitment to equity in mental health care.
2. Background in integrating technology, such as VR, into therapeutic practices.
3. Prior experience supervising QMHPs or similar roles.
