Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our acute care team on-site in Tallahassee. You will provide direct patient care with a focus on dignity, privacy, and patient rights while adhering to regulatory guidelines.

In this role you will coordinate clinical support staff response to walk-ins and emergencies, supervise Licensed Practical Nurses and Medical Assistants, and assist with ensuring compliance with TMH policies and the Florida Nurse Practice

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
• Minimum 2 years of job-related experience; 3+ preferred, including supervisory experience.
• Current LPN License in the State of Florida.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care with respect for patient rights, dignity and confidentiality.
• Coordinate clinical support staff response to walk-ins and emergent situations while complying with TMH policies.
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses, Medical Assistants, and other clinical staff as applicable.
