We provide individualized and compassionate services to individuals facing developmental disabilities, mental illness, substance use disorders, and homelessness across more than 175 program sites throughout Greater Boston and Southeastern Massachusetts.

Job Summary

As a member of the multidisciplinary ACCS Integrated Team, the Clinical Supervisor manages a caseload and provides direct interventions, including comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and clinical interventions. The role also involves modeling and supervising Program Managers and Engagement Partners in intervention implementation. The Clinical Supervisor partners with individuals to work toward personal goals, fostering greater independence and improved quality of life.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • At the discretion of the ACCS Assistant Integrated Team Director
Essential Functions
  • Serve as the Primary Clinician for a caseload not to exceed 28 individuals, on the Engagement Team for each Person.
  • Identify and review engagement strategies tailored to each Person's situation and preferences.
  • Oversee clinical assessments and treatment plans for assigned individuals.
  • Provide guidance and training to supervisees on evidence-based practices such as SBIRT, Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction, TREM, and others, ensuring their proper incorporation into interventions.
  • Utilize recovery-oriented language and principles in all communications.
  • Develop and review safety and clinical risk response plans based on Person strengths and preferences.
  • Supervise Program Managers and Engagement Partners, including hiring, training, and evaluations.
  • Collaborate with care providers to ensure access to appropriate services during crises and transitions.
  • Participate in administrative duties and on-call coverage as scheduled.
  • Complete all documentation promptly, including assessments, treatment plans, and incident reports.
  • Provide crisis assessment and intervention during work hours and on-call shifts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field.
  • Licensure as LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, or equivalent.
  • At least two years of experience working with adults with mental health challenges.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong team-building and facilitation skills.
  • Commitment to supporting individuals' rights to community living and services.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Windows, Word, and Google Apps.
  • Department of Public Health medication administration certification within 3 months of hire.
  • CPR and First Aid certifications within 3 months of hire.
  • Ability to assist individuals with mobility impairments and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Use of personal cell phone for work communication.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.
  • Bilingual candidates encouraged; fluency may offer pay differential.
