Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise and mentor limited permit clinicians and student interns, providing guidance on clinical best practices, case conceptualization, and ethical standards.
  2. Conduct individual and group supervision sessions in alignment with regulatory and professional requirements, including attendance at pre-scheduled group supervision meetings.
  3. Ensure high-quality client care by reviewing clinical documentation, offering feedback, and supporting clinicians in developing treatment plans.
  4. Be knowledgeable about practice policies and procedures, serving as a resource for supervisees to ensure compliance and professional growth within the practice.
  5. Maintain compliance with licensing and ethical standards, ensuring clinicians follow best practices in documentation, treatment, and confidentiality.
  6. Collaborate with leadership to enhance clinical services and contribute to the ongoing development of our practice.

Qualifications:

Must meet one of the following licensure requirements:

  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC-D) with diagnostic privileges in New York and licensed in New Jersey
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in both New York and New Jersey

A deep, genuine passion for shaping the next generation of therapists—mentorship and fostering the clinical growth of supervisees must be a core motivation for this role.
Eligible to provide supervision for limited permit mental health counselors and student interns.
Strong commitment to holistic, trauma-informed, and anxiety-focused therapy.
Experience working with diverse populations and a dedication to culturally responsive care.
Previous supervision experience preferred but not required—passion for mentoring and leadership is essential.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide constructive feedback.
Availability for flexible scheduling, including supervision meetings as required.
