Job summary

Sacramento Children's Home is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee the Full Service Partnership Wraparound program and ensure fidelity to High Fidelity Wraparound and Multisystemic Therapy practices.

Under supervision of the Clinical Program Manager, you will supervise staff, support clinical operations, and ensure contractual compliance. The role requires licensure as LMFT/LCSW/LPCC, a Master’s degree, and prior supervisory experience in a community mental health setting.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a license as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
  • Master's degree from an accredited school of Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.
  • At least 3 years' experience with seriously disturbed youth and families; experience with diverse communities.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise assigned staff with regular supervision, training and coaching.
  • Ensure staff implement FSPW practices (HFW, MST) and fidelity.
  • Process personnel paperwork and ensure timely performance evaluations.
  • Monitor timekeeping and attendance records and submit to accounting.
  • Participate in PQI meetings and lead fidelity monitoring activities.

OVERVIEW

Under the supervision of the Clinical Program Manager, the Clinical Supervisor (CS) supervises staff in the Full Service Partnership Wraparound (FSPW) program to ensure individualized services for high needs youth and families. The CS ensures fidelity to identified practices such as High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW), Multisystemic Therapy (MST), etc. The CS supports clinical and administrative operations to meet contractual requirements.

DUTIES
  • (70%) Personnel Management
  • Directly supervise assigned staff and provide regular supervision, training and coaching as needed.
  • Process paperwork for all required personnel forms, including but not limited to, personnel changes, promotions, disciplinary actions, etc.
  • Ensure timely and thorough completion of performance evaluations in accordance with agency policy.
  • Ensure staff implement services consistent with the FSPW model to meet the needs of youth and families.
  • Reviews productivity data on individual staff and provide support to the program in order to reach target goals.
  • Ensure timely submission of required staff paperwork (progress notes, time sheets, mileage/expenses, etc.).
  • Ensure that the use of identified practices are fully implemented and demonstrate fidelity. This includes but not limited to HFW and MST.
  • Provide necessary and appropriate counseling or disciplinary action in accordance with agency policies, consulting with the Clinical Program Manager and agency leadership.
  • Ensure accurate timekeeping and attendance records are submitted to accounting in a timely manner.
  • Orient incoming staff to the program, Agency and County and provide training on requirements and regulations.
  • Provide clinical supervision to meet BBS requirements as assigned.
  • Monitor the quality and quantity of staff's documentation and, when needed, provide approvals in the electronic health record.
  • Reinforce SCH and program policies related to daily responsibilities.
  • Ensure that all HR policies and standards are followed regarding personnel management, which includes, but is not limited to, recruitment, training and orientation, evaluations, and employee discipline.
  • Serve as a resource for program staff providing client services.
  • Assume specific leadership tasks in the Clinical Program Manager's absence when assigned.
  • (20%) Other
  • Actively participate in the management team to ensure FSPW contract requirements are being met.
  • Support development of a training plan so staff receive the training to meet the needs of FSPW youth and families.
  • Monitor and ensure effective linkages with community and agency service providers.
  • Establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with internal staff and external resources.
  • Participate in events representing the agency and program when needed.
  • Participate in supervision, staff meetings, process reviews and other assigned meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • (10%) Quality Improvement
  • Participate in PQI meetings and take a leadership role in implementing identified initiatives.
  • Monitor client outcomes and provide interventions to improve areas as needed.
  • Participate in and provide leadership in fidelity monitoring of program practices and implement improvements as needed.

SCHEDULE

Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm; Schedule flexibility details included in Qualifications section.

SALARY

$96,500 Annually.

Position is eligible for a bonus incentive twice per year up to $7,688.

Qualifications
Education and Experience

Must possess a license as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC. Eligible and qualified to provide clinical supervision per BBS regulations is highly desired.

Must possess a Master's Degree from an accredited school of Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology.

At least 3 years' experience working with seriously disturbed children, adolescents, and families, and experience in engaging parents as partners and working successfully with families from diverse ethnic and cultural groups is required.

Previous experience with EPSDT billing and documentation is highly desired.

One year of supervisory responsibilities in a community mental health setting is preferred.

Driving is an essential function of this job. As such, employees in this position will be required to furnish their own vehicle to be used in the course of employment. A valid driver's license and minimum insurance coverage is also required. Must be at least 21 years old.

Due to the nature of the program, a flexible work schedule is required including non-traditional business hours, some weekends and on-call rotation coverage.
