Job description

Responsible for overseeing and managing a team of at least 12 supervisees, providing administrative and clinical supervision, ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting performance evaluations and quality reviews, and interfacing with referral sources.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and management of assigned supervisees (minimum 12)
• Provide administrative and clinical supervision weekly to direct supervisees (LMSW, LGPC, LCSW‑C, LCPC)
• Maintain documentation of supervision sessions
• Conduct administrative auditing of client charts for compliance with COMAR regulation, agency policy, and insurance standards
• Conduct annual performance evaluations, corrective action, and related activities
• Conduct monthly quality note reviews for direct supervisees
• Complete administrative clinic discharges for assigned supervisees
• Oversee intake meetings, assignment of clients, and clinical case meetings
• Interface with referral sources in the community and develop funding sources
• Maintain working knowledge of mental health treatment models and DSM 5 diagnostic criteria
• Work independently yet collaboratively as a team player across department lines within BTST Services, LLC
• Conduct monthly group supervision
• Reconcile clinician activity reports
• Reassign cases for terminated/resigned supervisees, including audit of charts and timely reassignment
• Oversight of interns during internships and practicums
• Conduct the interview and hiring process, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, counseling, rehabilitation, or a related field
• Maintain professional license in the state of MD to provide therapy services
• Licensed Certified supervisor by the Board of Maryland Social Work Examiners (LCPC or LCSW‑C)
• At least five years of administrative and/or clinical experience
• Required experience working in a behavioral health setting providing services to clients with emotional and behavioral disabilities
• Knowledge of CARF standards and COMAR regulations preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Valid Driver's License and clear driving record
