Job summary

BTST Services, LLC in Maryland is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee a team of licensed professionals and provide weekly administrative and clinical supervision to LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, and LCPC. The role emphasizes documentation, program compliance, and quality assurance across services.

You will conduct annual performance assessments, supervise monthly chart reviews, and coordinate with referral sources while supporting interns and the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, rehabilitation or related field.
• Maintain professional license in MD to provide therapy services; LCPC/LCSW-C.
• LCSW-C Supervisors must be Board Approved with Counseling Board.
• At least five years of administrative/clinical experience in behavioral health.
• Knowledge of CARF standards and COMAR regulations preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of and management of at least 12 supervisees.
• Provide weekly administrative and clinical supervision to direct supervisees (LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, LCPC).
• Maintain documentation of supervision sessions and compliance audits.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations and corrective actions.
• Quality note review for supervisees monthly.
• Discharge administrative and clinical paperwork for supervisees.
• Oversee intake meetings, client assignments, and clinical case meetings.
• Interface with referral sources and develop funding sources.
• Travel to in-person supervision appointments and events as needed.
• Oversee interns during internships and practicums; participate in hiring process.

Essential Functions:

• Oversight of and management of assigned supervisees (minimum of 12 supervisees)
• Providing administrative and clinical supervision on a weekly basis to direct supervisees (LMSW, LGPC, LCSW-C, LCPC) pertaining to service delivery, documentation submission etc.
• Maintaining documentation of provided supervision sessions
• Administrative auditing of client charts for compliance with COMAR regulation, agency policy and procedures & insurance standards
• Conducting annual performance evaluations, needed corrective action, and related activities
• Conducting quality note review for direct supervisees monthly
• Completion of administrative clinic discharges for assigned supervisees
• Overseeing intake meetings, assignment of clients, and clinical case meetings
• Interfacing with referral sources in the community and develop funding sources
• Maintaining working knowledge of mental health treatment models and DSM 5 diagnostic criteria
• Working independently, yet collaboratively as a team player across department lines within BTST Services, LLC
• Conducting monthly group supervision
• Reconciling clinician activity reports
• Case reassignments for caseload of terminated/resigned supervisees includes audit of charts as well timely reassignment of cases
• Oversight of interns during internships and practicums
• Conduct the interview and hiring process, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Masters Degree from an accredited college or university in one of the following fields: social work, psychology, counseling, rehabilitation, or a related field
• Maintain professional license in the state of MD to provide therapy services
• Licensed Certified supervisor by the Board of Maryland Social Work Examiners (LCPC or LCSW-C)
• LCSW-C Supervisors must also be Board Approved with the Counseling Board
• At least five years of administrative and/or clinical experience
• Required experience working in a behavioral health setting providing services to clients with emotional and behavior disabilities
• Knowledge of CARF standards and COMAR regulations preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Valid Driver's License and clear driving record

Travel Requirement:

Clinical Supervisors must be able to travel to in person supervision appointments as well as other required events, meetings, and activities. Coverage at other locations (Baltimore City, PG County, Washington County, Frederick County) may also be required.

Age Requirement:

Be at least 21 years of age

Education and Experience:

Mental Health Professional licensed by the state of Maryland. Experience as required by the credentialing process.
