As part of the treatment team, provides direct clinical social work services to clients in the abuse intervention program targeting behaviors that led to domestic violence. Responsibilities include supervising all Abuse Intervention clinical assessments, clinical consultations, group and individual client services, discharge planning, and client-centered advocacy. On‑going supervision of clinical staff providing one‑on‑one and group supervision to staff, and participating in a Multi‑disciplinary Treatment Team, discharge planning, and post‑discharge follow‑ups.
Masters or better in Social Work or related field.
Must hold a professional mental health license (LPC/LCSW) and possess a minimum of 21 hours of training in clinical supervision and a minimum of 100 hours providing general clinical supervision during the past 5 years. Working knowledge of social learning theory, Cognitive‑Behavioral intervention, motivational interviewing skills, and approaches, assessment, and evaluation necessary.
Training in domestic violence experience is required, as well as working with underserved or culturally specific populations (i.e. immigrant, female, LQTQ+, etc.). Strong people skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to multi‑task are required.
