Job summary

Piedmont Macon Medical is seeking a full-time, salaried Nurse Supervisor to lead nursing staff from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. The role emphasizes collaboration with the Clinical Manager to ensure supervision and high-quality patient care in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

Minimum requirements include a nursing degree and GA RN licensure with at least two years of inpatient or outpatient nursing experience. BLS is required, ACLS may be needed depending on unit.

• Two (2) years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient) or clinical (outpatient) setting.
• Current Georgia RN license.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities:

Continuous collaboration with the Clinical Manager to ensure consistent supervision of the staff.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Graduate of a nursing program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Two (2) years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient roles) or clinical (outpatient roles) setting.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:

Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous supervisory experience desired.


• Valid BLS certification required.


• ACLS certification may be required given unit specialty (if required, see addendum)


• Leadership qualities that demonstrate creativity, innovation, proactive and collaborative relationship.


• Participation in continuing education and maintenance of current knowledge for the care of patients in


• assigned unit(s).


• Bachelor's degree preferred.
