The Role

A Clinical Supervisor, BCBA will work under the Treatment Center Director and be responsible for implementing behavior intervention plans.

  • Conduct initial assessment with the client to determine a treatment plan.
  • Work collaboratively with families, educators, and other professionals to obtain better insight into the client’s concerns.
  • Conduct naturalistic observations of clients within individual and group settings.
  • Create simulated conditions to observe the behavior of each client.
  • Formulate a treatment plan sensitive to clients’ cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs.
  • Administer treatment and tailor intervention plans as needed.
  • Suggest additional treatment by other professionals, as required.
  • Operate within time, financial, and other resource constraints, insofar as possible.
  • Review and sign off on behavior plans, offer training to direct support staff, and provide field supervision when necessary.
  • Stay abreast of changes in research on evidence‑based practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is a full‑time salary, exempt position with benefits.

We are a center‑based autism provider (no traveling to clients’ homes).

Regular mentorship from experienced director‑level BCBAs for newly certified BCBAs or collaboration with experienced BCBAs looking for like‑minded individuals.

Seeking a Behavior Analyst Who Has
  • A master’s degree, PsyD, or Ph.D. from an accredited institution with a concentration in early childhood education/development, special education, psychology, or related field, with specialized knowledge of behavioral health and treatment philosophies.
  • At least three years of related professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a multidisciplinary team setting.
  • Knowledge of early childhood and autism assessment tools and procedures, thorough understanding of child development, experience developing positive behavior support plans and programs, and teaching social interaction and play skills.
  • Knowledge of current methods of technicians of applied behavior analysis and discrete trial training; ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with clients, parents, and professionals; competence in analyzing assessment results, designing appropriate treatment plans and behavioral programs, and monitoring progress.
  • Two or more years of experience providing staff direction and development in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent verbal and report writing skills.
  • Calm, empathic, and patient.
  • The ability to remain composed and adherent to best practices, even when under duress.

Compensation

$72,000 – $85,000 USD (final compensation package based on candidate experience and certifications)
