Job summary

Banyan Treatment Centers in Waelder, TX seeks a Clinical Supervisor (LPC or LCSW) to lead clinical services, guide therapeutic practices, and ensure patient care and regulatory compliance.

You will supervise primary therapists, support program development, and maintain a manageable caseload while upholding Joint Commission standards and ethics.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work or related human services field.
• Active LPC or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• Adherence to Healthcare Code of Ethics.
• Familiarity with Joint Commission Standards.
• Knowledge of State and Federal confidentiality regulations.

Responsibilities

• Review and sign off on clinician documentation in the EMR to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide feedback and redirection to clinicians on documentation to support quality assurance.
• Provide individual and/or group supervision to primary therapists.
• Assist primary therapists with case management and clinical interventions as needed.
• Offer ongoing clinical guidance and mentorship to support therapist development.
• Observe therapeutic groups and provide feedback to enhance clinical effectiveness.
• Contribute to development and improvement of clinical services and treatment models.
• Participate in staff training and development initiatives.
• Maintain a small caseload of clients, providing therapy as needed.
• Ensure high standards of clinical care in direct service delivery.

YourleadershipwillinspireandsupportPrimaryTherapistsandclinicalstaff,fosteringcollaboration,programexcellence,andlife-changingoutcomesforindividualsovercomingaddictionandmentalhealthchallenges.

• Reports to:Clinical Director
• Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday 8 - 4:30

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work or a related human services major.
• An active LPC or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• Adherence to the Healthcare Code of Ethics
• Familiarity with Joint Commission Standards.
• Knowledge of State and Federal confidentiality regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of clinical experience in the field of substance-use-disorder or mental health treatment.
• 2 years of management experience.
