Job summary

CalvertHealth is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead the outpatient rehabilitation program while still providing direct patient care as a Physical Therapist. This role blends clinical leadership with hands-on PT duties, reporting to the Director of Rehabilitation.

The position requires a Master’s in Physical Therapy (or 5–7 years of equivalent experience) and 3–5 years of PT practice, plus CPR within 30 days of hire. Applicants must meet competency and lifting requirements per policy GA-057.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physical Therapy is required or a 5–7 year equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years related experience as a Physical Therapist.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Maintains unit-specific competencies and department requirements per GA-057 policy.

Job Summary

• The Clinical supervisor provides clinical and operational leadership for the outpatient rehabilitation program while maintaining an active role in direct patient care as a physical therapist. This is a working clinical leadership position and is not intended to replace the formal administrative responsibilities of the Outpatient Rehabilitation Services Director.

Other Requirements

• Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
• Required to lift and or move more than 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with modified lifting devices. Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• CPR required within 30 days of hire.
