Job summary

Randstad Enterprise is seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee clinical, operational, and administrative programming within a supportive housing program in the Bronx. The role leads a team including one licensed social worker and four case managers, ensuring services meet contract and regulatory standards.

The position requires a Master’s degree in a related field and supervisory experience, with on-call coverage in evenings and weekends to support crises and site operations.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a human services field is required.
  • Clinical services and supervisory/leadership experience preferred.
  • LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT preferred.
  • Evening/weekend on-call rotation required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day clinical, administrative, and operational functions of the housing program and clinical team.
  • Provide supervision and clinical guidance to social work and case management staff.
  • Ensure activities meet contractual obligations, standards, regulatory requirements, and outcome metrics.
  • Oversee client referrals, intake, admissions, and coordination with outreach teams.
  • Maintain staffing coverage and continuity of services.
  • Collaborate with property management and security on site operations and safety.
  • Support staff in managing complex client needs and crisis situations.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for emergency clinical and site support.

Job description

We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee clinical, operational, and administrative programming within a supportive housing program in the Bronx. The program provides approximately 110 supportive housing units across two adjacent residences and serves formerly homeless individuals, including those living with mental illness and HIV/AIDS. The Clinical Supervisor will provide leadership to a team consisting of one licensed social worker and four case managers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day clinical, administrative, and operational functions of the housing program and clinical team.
  • Provide supervision, leadership, and clinical guidance to social work and case management staff.
  • Ensure program activities comply with contractual obligations, organizational standards, regulatory requirements, and established outcome metrics.
  • Oversee client referrals, intake, admissions, and coordination with outreach teams.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing coverage and continuity of services.
  • Collaborate with property management and security staff regarding site maintenance, environmental health, resident safety, and facility operations.
  • Support staff in managing complex client needs, behavioral health concerns, and crisis situations.
  • Participate in an evening and weekend on-call rotation to provide emergency clinical and site support.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, Public Administration, Public Health, Psychology, or a related human services field required.
  • Relevant experience in clinical services, behavioral health, supportive housing, homelessness services, case management, or community-based human services.
  • Previous supervisory or clinical leadership experience preferred.
  • LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and crisis-management skills.
  • Experience working with individuals experiencing mental illness, homelessness, HIV/AIDS, or other complex social-service needs preferred.
  • An LMSW, Mental Health Counselor Limited Permit, or MFT Limited Permit may count toward required experience.
  • Ability to participate in an evening and weekend on-call rotation.
