Job summary

CASES is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for the Nathaniel Clinic in the Bronx. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure regulatory excellence, and shape high‑quality outpatient services for adolescents and adults with behavioral health needs.

The role requires an LCSW or Psychologist license, 1+ year of supervisory experience, and the ability to work with clients involved in the criminal legal system. Flexible schedule with a 9–5, Mon–Fri workload and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

  • New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Psychologist
  • Minimum 1 year of management and clinical supervision experience
  • Experience with people involved in the criminal legal system with behavioral health needs
  • Experience using an electronic health record (Qualifacts/CareLogic preferred)
  • Strong organizational, leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Spanish fluency strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage a multidisciplinary care team with therapists, a substance use specialist, case manager, and a senior peer specialist.
  • Support clinical and administrative operations to promote integrated clinical, targeted case management, peer support, psychiatric rehabilitation, and health promotion recovery services.
  • Provide targeted training, professional development, coaching and supervision in trauma-informed and recovery-oriented services.
  • Ensure provision of evidence-based practices for youth and adults in behavioral health, including those involved in the juvenile justice and criminal legal system.
  • Coordinate delivery of high-quality clinical treatment in accordance with OMH MHOTRS licensing and CCBHC standards.
  • Provide crisis intervention services as deemed appropriate and participate in 24-hour emergency phone coverage on a rotating basis.
  • Manage a specialized caseload of clinic clients with elevated risk factors.
  • Participate as clinical lead for care teams in quality improvement projects addressing health disparities.

Outpatient Supervisor

CASES is seeking an Clinical Supervisorto provide clinical leadership at the Nathaniel Clinic, an OMH‑licensed outpatient mental health program serving adolescents and adults with behavioral health needs. This role is ideal for an experienced LCSW, PhD, and/or PsyD ready to lead teams, ensure regulatory excellence, and drive high‑quality outpatient clinical services within a CCBHC model.

As Clinical Supervisor, you will oversee licensed clinicians and work closely with the Clinic Director to support day‑to‑day clinical operations, staff performance, and program development. You will play a key role in maintaining clinical standards, strengthening evidence‑based practice, coordinating care with co‑located Alternatives to Incarceration (ATI) and Pretrial programs, and ensuring compliance with OMH, Medicaid, CCBHC, and other applicable state and local regulatory requirements.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 annually

Location: 424 East 147 th Street, Bronx New York 10455 (accessible by public transportation)

Work Flexibility: Flexible (for roles that have days that can be partially remote, e.g., being able to draft notes at home after going to the office/community in the morning). After successfully completing your 90-day introductory period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage a multidisciplinary care team with therapists, a substance use specialist, case manager, and a senior peer specialist providing team-based treatment, care, and supportive services in collaboration with clinic psychiatrists/PNPs and nurses.
  • Support the overall clinical and administrative operations of the care team to promote integrated clinical, targeted case management, peer support, psychiatric rehabilitation, and health promotion recovery services.
  • Supervise and support staff providing targeted training, professional development, coaching and supervision in person- family-centered, trauma-informed and recovery-oriented services.
  • Ensure provision of evidence-based practices for youth and adults with behavioral health needs, including those involved in the juvenile justice and criminal legal system.
  • Coordinate the delivery of high quality and compassionate clinical treatment and supports in accordance with NYS Office of Mental Health (OMH) Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitative Services (MHOTRS) licensing and standards of care requirements and CCBHC Certification standards.
  • Provide crisis intervention services as deemed appropriate and participate in the 24-hour emergency phone coverage on rotating basis.
  • Manage a specialized caseload of clinic clients with significant elevated vulnerabilities for poor outcomes (e.g., suicide, violence).
  • Participate as clinical lead for the care team in quality improvement projects to address performance and health disparities for specific client groups being served in the clinic.

  • Experience working with people involve in criminal legal system with behavioral health needs
