Job summary

LynLake Centers for WellBeing in the Twin Cities seeks a Clinical Supervisor (LP/LPCC/LICSW/LMFT) to guide pre-licensed clinicians and deliver outpatient therapy in a collaborative setting. Qualifications

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • MN State licensure as a Licensed Psychologist (LP), LICSW, LPCC or LMFT.
  • Board Approval to provide Clinical Supervision under Minnesota boards.
  • Minimum of 4 years of clinical therapy, including at least 1 year in supervision and 1 year in group practice.
  • Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based therapy modalities and commitment to professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision and oversight to pre-licensed providers to ensure effective therapy services.
  • Mentor, train, and support pre-licensed providers for professional growth.
  • Guide treatment plans and intervention strategies.
  • Monitor quality of therapy services and provide ongoing feedback for competency development.
  • Manage performance interventions when relevant.
  • Provide therapy services to a caseload of clients (6/week 1099 or 12/week W2) in addition to supervision.

  • Adhere to company policies, professional conduct standards, and applicable laws.
  • Complete documentation and tasks to support billing and administration.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and work independently as needed.

Clinical Supervisor (LP, LPCC, LICSW or LMFT)

Location: Multiple locations in Minneapolis, MN and St. Paul, MN (currently limited space available at our St. Paul sites).

Position can be full time in office or a hybrid of in office and remote with a minimum requirement of 3 days in office.

Employment Type: W2 Full-Time Employee.

Job Summary

This role is a combination of supervisory and direct practice activities. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will provide guidance and support to pre-licensed providers and ensure the delivery of high-quality therapy services. Your role is essential in maintaining the standard of care, promoting therapeutic excellence, and fostering the professional development of our pre-licensed staff.

As a Licensed Therapist, you will be dedicated to delivering exceptional outpatient client care in a collaborative setting. Your primary responsibilities will encompass conducting diagnostic assessments and administering targeted treatment, drawing from an array of culturally responsive, trauma-informed and diverse therapeutic modalities, including individual, couples, and/or family psychotherapy. Your caseload may include individuals presenting with depression, anxiety, trauma, significant life changes, ADHD, and other mental health symptoms and developmental concerns, thus necessitating experience across a broad spectrum of client profiles and conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision and oversight to one or more pre-licensed providers to ensure the delivery of effective, evidence-based therapy services.
  • Mentor, train, and support pre-licensed providers, assisting in their professional growth, skill development, and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Provide guidance and consultation on client treatment plans and intervention strategies.
  • Monitor the quality and effectiveness of therapy services, conducting regular evaluation and providing ongoing feedback for competency development.
  • Guide performance management interventions when relevant.
  • Provide therapy services to a caseload of clients, maintaining a clinical practice of at least 6 clients per week (1099) or at least 12 clients per week (W2) in addition to your supervisory role.
  • Provide professional clinical services, including individual, couples, and/or family therapy including: completing diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans, designing and applying tailored interventions, evaluating client progress, and providing referrals and care coordination based on client needs.
  • Follow company policies, professional conduct standards, and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Timely completion of documentation and associated tasks to support billing and administration.
  • Exceptional clinical and boundary-setting skills along with expertise in therapeutic interventions and treatment modalities.
  • Ability to work productively and effectively, both independently and in collaboration with colleagues.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Supervisor Pay Structure:
    • Flat Monthly Rate Per Supervisee: Full-Time Supervisee (billing 24+ sessions/week): $375 biweekly; Part-Time Supervisee (billing ~12 sessions/week): $225 biweekly.
    • Group Supervision Compensation: $150 per group session.
    • Intern Supervision Rate: $525 biweekly.
  • Compensation for Direct Services: Compensation split of net collections between 62-65%; paid bi-weekly.
    • Estimated annual earning potential of: $107,000 for a Full-Time W-2 Provider.
    • W-2 Licensed Provider: 62% Compensation Split.
    • 1099 Independent Contractor: 65% Compensation Split.

Requirements

Education:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field required.
  • MN State licensure as a Licensed Psychologist (LP), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
  • Board Approval to provide Clinical Supervision under the Minnesota Board of Social Work, Behavioral Health & Therapy, and/or Marriage & Family Therapy is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical therapy, including a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role and minimum of 1 year of previous group practice experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based therapy modalities and a commitment to professional development.
Strongly Preferred
  • Works with children under the age of 13 years old and/or comfortable supervising this work.
  • Trained in Trauma/PTSD (EMDR; ART; Somatic Experiencing; Sensorimotor Psychotherapy; Brainspotting; Internal Family Systems (IFS); DBT; Neurofeedback) and/or Sex therapy.
  • Experience or training working with Neurodivergence (ADHD and ASD), addiction, eating disorders, aging/older clients (and able to accept Medicare), Alzheimer’s/Dementia, unhoused clients, Women’s health (fertility, postpartum, perinatal, etc).
