Job summary

Volunteer-Behavioral-Health-Care-System seeks a licensed clinical supervisor to oversee unlicensed and licensed staff within SBBHL, BASIC, and related services. The role ensures supervision meets policy, compliance standards, and licensure requirements.

The position requires active TN licensure (LCSW/LPC/LMFT), a minimum of five years in psychotherapy and/or supervision, and willingness to travel for on-site supervision, trainings, and program oversight.

Qualifications

• Active TN license as LCSW/LPC/LMFT required.
• Minimum of five years of experience providing psychotherapy and/or supervision.
• Eligible to provide supervision for staff working towards licensure.

Responsibilities

• Provide required monthly face-to-face clinical supervision to assigned staff.
• Approve supervisory documentation to meet policy.
• Prepare and submit monthly reports to leadership and key stakeholders.
• Attend agency and committee meetings as scheduled.
• Conduct on-site staff observations and chart audits as required.
• Coordinate telehealth and in-person service provision as needed.

Clinical SupervisionProvide required monthly face-to-face clinical supervision to assigned unlicensed/licensed staff within SBBHL, BASIC, and other services as neededResponsible for supervisory signatures on required documentation to meet VBHCS policy.Perform additional supervision as indicated by chart review, peer and billing review, and other external audits including scope of grantsMeet standards specific to licensure, CARF, and other contracting entity requirementsEnsure that staff are working within the scope of their services, within the bounds of their competencies, and are following ethical guidelines.Complete all documentation timely and accurately as required.Clinical Oversight:Prepare and submit monthly reports as requiredAttend agency meetings as scheduled, including clinical meetings, leadership meetings, any assigned technical advisory groups, and othersComplete and submit chart audits for supervisees as requiredProvide on-site staff observation, community meetings and debriefings, and other meetings, such as staff trainings, as assignedProvision of Direct ServiceWill complete assessments, screenings, and other activities as neededAdditional ResponsibilitiesAssists in coordination of clinical/programmatic safety initiatives such as Zero Suicide InitiativePrepare monthly report to SVP of Specialized Grants and Services, Clinical Director, Chief Operating Officer, and VP of Compliance.Participates in VBH leadership, QI meetings/ and VBH technical advisory groups as assigned.Participates in community and programmatic meetings and trainings as requested.Maintain active TN License and remain current on all required CEUsTravel will be required.
