Job summary

AbbVie Inc. is seeking a Study Project Manager I in Florham Park, NJ to bridge science and operations across development stages. You will ensure studies are executed on time, within budget, and meet company objectives with scientific acumen and stakeholder collaboration.

You will lead cross-functional teams through planning and execution, manage vendor relationships, and drive operational excellence in a matrix environment, focusing on quality and patient-centric outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent.
• 6 years of pharma-related and/or clinical research experience or equivalent.
• Preferred exposure from study initiation through completion in Phase 1-4 and/or Medical Device Trial experience.

Responsibilities

• Defines and drives operational strategies and deliverables for one or more clinical studies.
• Raises budget, timelines and study issues; applies scientific and operational expertise to achieve objectives.
• Leads cross-functional Clinical Study Team and oversees study execution from planning to delivery.
• Manages vendors and external stakeholders including sites, KOLs and patient groups.
• Mentors Study Management Associates and promotes a collaborative, innovative environment.
