Alignerr is seeking a Clinical Study Manager to oversee operational execution of clinical trials and contribute to AI training in healthcare research. This fully remote, hourly contract role suits seasoned operations professionals who can manage timelines, vendors, and budgets across multi-site studies.

You will coordinate with CROs, investigative sites, and internal teams to drive high-quality study execution and apply clinical expertise to inform AI systems trained on real-world data.

About The Role

We're looking for experienced Clinical Study Managers to help oversee the operational execution of clinical trials — and in doing so, contribute to the development of AI systems that are transforming the future of medicine.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for seasoned clinical operations professionals who know how to keep complex studies on track. If you've managed timelines, wrangled vendors, and kept budgets tight across multi-site trials, this role was designed for you.

What You’ll Do

• Manage clinical trial timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure studies stay on schedule and within scope
• Oversee study budgets, financial forecasting, and expenditure tracking across multiple vendors and research partners
• Coordinate with CROs, investigative sites, and internal teams to drive smooth, high-quality study execution
• Identify operational risks early, resolve issues proactively, and keep all stakeholders aligned throughout the trial lifecycle
• Apply your real-world clinical expertise to inform and improve AI systems trained on healthcare and research data

Who You Are

• Experienced clinical trial project manager with a strong track record managing budgets, timelines, and vendors
• Skilled at coordinating across CROs, sites, and cross-functional teams in complex, multi-workstream environments
• Detail-oriented and systematic — you catch problems before they become crises
• Clear, confident communicator who keeps stakeholders informed and aligned
• Self-directed and reliable when working independently in a remote setting

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation workflows
• Familiarity with AI tools or clinical data platforms
• Background working with LLMs, NLP systems, or healthcare AI applications
• Experience in regulatory or GCP-compliant research environments
