Job summary

The Clinical Strategy and Practice Fellow (VSP/PT) at Humana Inc. leads strategy and initiatives to improve clinician capacity, recruitment, development and licensure compliance across CenterWell Senior Primary Care.

You will provide expert guidance, drive data-based process improvements, and collaborate with senior leaders to shape enterprise-wide clinical programs. This remote role may require occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings.

Job description

Become a part of our caring community The Clinical Strategy and Practice Fellow (VSP/PT) builds strategies for development, engagement, best clinical practices and processes for clinical community within the enterprise. The Clinical Strategy and Practice Fellow (VSP/PT) contributes through a combination of (a) key technical expertise and (b) technical/process leadership that regularly provides functional guidance to professional associates. Regularly applies advanced in-depth and broad knowledge and considered top “go to” resource in their field. The Clinical Strategy and Practice Fellow (VSP/PT) designs, implements, and supports strategy and drives targeted initiatives aimed at increasing enterprise clinician capacity, enhancing clinician recruitment, development, and retention, and supporting clinician licensure compliance and continuing education. Uses data-based insight to direct process improvement efforts within the clinical community. Develops and drives overall enterprise strategy and provides recommendations to senior executives. Makes decisions on complex to highly complex issues that have significant impact on the enterprise’s financial and business operations, and as an expert in the field, uses professional concepts in developing resolution to critical enterprise-wide issues and broad design matters.

Work at Home Requirements:

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria: At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested. In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Humana reserves the right to require associates to upgrade their internet service if necessary. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Scheduled Weekly Hours 1 Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $184,800 - $254,100 per year
