Scope of Position

We're seeking a dedicated Clinical Staff Worker to join our dynamic P.R.O.S team under the guidance of the Program Director. In this role, you'll play a crucial part in assisting clients with mental health diagnoses and co-occurring disorders, always respecting clients’ rights and maintaining professional boundaries. The Clinical Staff Worker is responsible for providing person-centered care, psychiatric rehabilitation, documentation, caseload management, etc.

Essential Position Functions
  • Manage chart management for a caseload of PROS participants, fostering trusting relationships to achieve meaningful life role goals.
  • Assist individuals in coordinating their care effectively.
  • Enter and maintain detailed documentation in the CAIRS database.
  • Provide individual and group clinical counseling, skill-building, support, and therapy services using evidence-based and trauma-informed practices, including admissions, assessments, treatment planning, and discharges.
  • Develop and implement group and individual services, including creating tailored curricula to meet participant needs and interests.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop individualized service plans and crisis/relapse prevention plans.
  • Assist participants in leveraging their strengths and preferences to achieve their life goals.
  • Work with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver person-centered recovery and mental health services, fostering effective collaboration with support staff.
  • Document all participant contacts and services (e.g., Individual Recovery Planning, progress notes) in electronic health records promptly and report outcomes to regulatory bodies as required.
  • Provide comprehensive services to support clients in areas such as family support, housing entitlements, employment, education, vocational interests, community integration, and physical health care connection.
  • Demonstrate strong time management, task management, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Maintain clear and appropriate boundaries with service recipients.
  • Establish empathic and empowering relationships with individuals who have experienced psychiatric disabilities and trauma.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in social services-related field. Clinical supervision hours available. LP or licensed preferred.
  • Experience working within the mental health/behavioral health field is preferred.
  • Knowledge of harm reduction and person-centered service provision is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
