Job summary

Jackson North Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Staff Nurse to champion quality patient care within the JNMC Central Staffing team. The nurse applies critical thinking and the nursing process to plan, implement and evaluate patient care, coordinating with physicians and other providers.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Nursing and an active Florida RN license with BLS; 1–3 years of related experience is typical.

Qualifications

• Assess and plan patient care using the nursing process.
• Document patient care plans and observations.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and uphold CARE values.
• Assist and mentor staff as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Implements and coordinates delivery of care with physicians and staff.
• Utilizes nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Documents all pertinent information regarding nursing care and observations.
• Maintains narcotics/equipment inventory and infection control practices.
• Assists with rounds to ensure continuity of care.
• Adheres to unit policies, procedures and competency checklists.
