Work Schedule

• Per Diem / On-Call - minimum 4 shifts per month
• Rotating/Variable Shift

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Be an active listener. Show that you care by being positive, supportive, discrete, respectful, friendly, easy to talk to, courteous, and welcoming.
• Complete an entry into the patient’s electronic medical record after each clinical encounter. In addition, when carrying the on-call pager, chaplains must keep an accurate record in the on-call log.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.

Required Position Qualifications

• Master's Degree of Divinity or equivalent.
• Have completed at least one unit of CPE in the ACPE Program, or equivalent. Equivalency will be determined by ACPE Supervisor(s).
• Received recommendation of ACPE supervisor.
• Written verbatim of best work submitted to Department Manager.

Compensation and Details

Pay range: $32.14 hourly. This is a temporary position. Benefits are available but they are detailed on request from Human Resources.
