Qualifications

Work Schedule: Irregular

Work Location: Otolaryngology Research, Faculty Office Towers

Position Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the program preceptor, develop clinical skills related to diagnosis, evaluation, and treatment of communication disorders (speech, language, voice, fluency, swallowing). Refine clinical skills and assess individual strengths and weaknesses.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience: Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communicative Disorders and completion of a clinical internship/externship. Work experience cannot replace educational requirements.

License/Certification: Clinical fellowship (CF) registration with the Alabama Board of Examiners for Speech Pathology and Audiology (ABESPA) within 60 days of hire.
