Qualifications

• Master's degree (M.S. or M.A.) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Certification by state board as licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence or CFY eligible.
• Completed all clinical practicum hours.
• Achieved a passing score of Speech Praxis Test.

Responsibilities

• Interview client and caregiver to determine needs.
• Administers tests and evaluates functional level.
• Develops treatment plans from evaluation results.
• Conducts individual or group therapy sessions.
• Maintains and submits documentation and reports.
• Counsels with families regarding treatment and home programs.
• Provides staff in-service and may supervise practicum students.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA and regulations.
