Job summary

Northside Hospital is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat a range of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings. You will work with diverse age groups from neonates to geriatrics, delivering individualized therapy plans.

Responsibilities include patient and family education, collaboration with medical staff, and maintaining high-quality customer service throughout care delivery.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech/Language Pathology required.
• CCC certification by ASHA or in process with supervised experience completion within one year.
• Two years of clinical experience required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and communication impairments, and swallowing, airway, and voice disorders.
• Develop and administer speech therapy programs for inpatients and outpatients (neonate to geriatric).
• Provide patient and family education and professional courtesy in interactions.
