We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the adult neurologic population, providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Services will be delivered in clients’ homes or via telehealth. Caseloads will be assigned based on your preferred service areas within the city and the north or northwest suburbs of Chicago. The Speech-Language Pathologist will work closely with families and healthcare providers to deliver individualized, patient-centered care.

Duties

• Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapy techniques to improve speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate and support families and caregivers regarding therapy goals and strategies.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Extensive experience working with the adult neurologic population.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Proficiency in assessing and treating speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and caregivers.
