Job summary

Asure Wound Solutions is seeking a Clinical Specialist, Wound Care Supplies to support nursing homes and long-term care facilities. This remote role is based in the Chicago area, and candidates must live nearby; travel up to 2 hours is required.

Starting salary is $75,000 per year plus benefits. The ideal candidate holds an active nursing license, at least 3 years of LTC nursing experience, and a wound care certification is preferred.

• Strong understanding of wound care principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to drive up to 2 hours for visits

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise and support to nursing homes and long-term care facilities in wound management
• Develop and implement wound care plans with the interdisciplinary team
• Educate and train nursing home staff on wound care techniques, products and equipment usage
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper wound care is provided in a timely manner
• Monitor and document the progress of wounds and adjust wound care plans as needed
• Maintain current knowledge of best practices in wound care and stay abreast of new developments in the field

This is a remote position based in the Chicago area (you must live in this area) and requires experience working in nursing homes or long-term care facilities as well as a strong background in wound care. The ideal candidate must be comfortable driving distances up to 2 hours away.

Starting salary for this position is $75,000/yr

Shift: Monday - Friday

Wound Care Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical expertise and support to nursing homes and long-term care facilities in the management of wounds and wound-related conditions
• Develop and implement wound care plans for residents in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Educate and train nursing home staff on proper wound care techniques, products and equipment usage
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper wound care is provided in a timely manner
• Monitor and document the progress of wounds and adjust wound care plans as needed
• Maintain current knowledge of best practices in wound care and stay abreast of new developments in the field

Wound Care Requirements

• Active nursing license
