Asure Wound Solutions is seeking a Clinical Specialist, Wound Care Supplies for a remote role centered in the Aurora area. The role requires nursing licensure and prior experience in nursing homes or long-term care with wound care proficiency.

You will drive up to 2 hours to support facilities, develop care plans, educate staff, and collaborate with clinicians to ensure timely wound management. Starting salary is $75,000 per year, with benefits including travel reimbursement and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Active nursing license
• At least 3 years of nursing experience in nursing homes or long-term care facilities
• Wound care certification preferred
• Strong understanding of wound care principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office
• Must be comfortable driving distances up to 2 hours away

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise and support to nursing homes and long-term care facilities in the management of wounds and wound-related conditions
• Develop and implement wound care plans for residents in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Educate and train nursing home staff on proper wound care techniques, products and equipment usage
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper wound care is provided in a timely manner
• Monitor and document the progress of wounds and adjust wound care plans as needed
• Maintain current knowledge of best practices in wound care and stay abreast of new developments in the field

This is a remote position based in the Aurora area (you must live in this area) and requires experience working in nursing homes or long-term care facilities as well as a strong background in wound care. The ideal candidate must be comfortable driving distances up to 2 hours away.

Starting salary for this position is $75,000/yr

Shift: Monday - Friday
