Job summary

Electromed is seeking a Clinical Specialist to support account growth through clinical engagement with key opinion leaders, and to develop educational content for internal and external initiatives. The role includes fieldwork, clinical trainings, and delivering presentations to diverse stakeholders.

You will train and support the sales team, travel up to 75% across the West/Pacific regions, and contribute to clinical education literature and events while maintaining current RT or RN licensure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years clinical experience in respiratory/pulmonary care.
• Current state RT or RN license in good standing.
• Clinical expert on airway clearance therapy and related devices.
• Experience in presentation development or medical writing preferred.
• Experience in DME, sales, or sales support strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of pulmonary anatomy and physiology; respiratory therapy equipment.
• Clinical education and mentorship experience.
• Strong stakeholder interaction and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication, listening, writing, and presentations to groups.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Must live within one hour of a major international airport in West or Pacific regions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

The Opportunity:

The Clinical Specialist will possess strong clinical knowledge about respiratory care, have a passion for education, and be eager to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. This position is responsible for supporting Electromed account growth through key opinion leader clinical engagement opportunities; development of educational content to support internal and external initiatives; fieldwork, support, and clinical development of sales team; clinical trainings; and delivery of presentations.

• Provide direct clinical sales support to new and tenured CAMs through disease state and airway clearance expertise.
• Travel across a specified geography to join clinical area managers in field-calls while providing clinical sales support and continuing education.

Job Outcomes Requirements:

• 5+ years clinical experience in the field of respiratory/pulmonary care.
• Current state RT or RN license in good standing.
• Clinical expert on airway clearance therapy, high frequency chest wall oscillation, and the diseases and conditions which require such therapy.
• Previous presentation development and/or skilled writing experience preferred.
• Previous experience inDME, sales, or sales support strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of pulmonary anatomy and physiology, airway clearance functions, and respiratory therapy equipment.
• Demonstrated experience in clinical education and mentorship.
• Highly adaptable to stakeholder needs and eager to take on new challenges.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a range of medical professionals.
• Excellent communication skills, including listening, writing, and presenting to groups of all sizes.
• Ability to work collaboratively with strong team building skills.
• Candidate must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Must live within one hour of a major international airport within the West or Pacific regions.
• Ability to travel up to 75% with an expectation of spending at least three weeks per month in the field alongside sales representatives, meeting with physicians, or attending industry events.

Compensation is comprised of base salary between $82,000-$110,000 plus quarterly incentives.
