Cooper Norcross Health in Camden, NJ, is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Specialist RN to assist the supervising surgeon in the operating room. You will provide first and second assists in cardiothoracic cases and support perioperative care from preoperative to postoperative management.

The role requires a BSN, NJ RN license, CNOR, CRNFA, and BLS; ACLS is preferred. This position typically follows a Monday–Friday schedule with on-call responsibilities as needed.

Competenze

BSN required.
NJ RN License.
CNOR Certification.
CRNFA Certification from the National Board of Perioperative Nursing.
American Heart BLS.
ACLS Preferred.

Mansioni

Assists the supervising surgeon in the management of patients in cardiothoracic cases.
Provides first and second assist in operating room cases.
Performs endoscopic saphenous vein harvest assistance and collaborates with the surgeon to deliver high-quality, cost-effective care during hospitalization.
Assess and implement physician-driven preoperative and postoperative patient management.
Function as a Registered Nurse in perioperative settings.

Short Description

Assists the supervising surgeon in the management of patients. Provides first and second assist in Operating Room cases. The Specialist in Cardiothoracic surgery provides first and second assist in Endoscopic Saphenous vein harvest and works closely with the surgeon in providing quality, efficient and continuous and cost-effective care during the patient's hospitalization. Assess and implement physician driven preoperative and postoperative management of the patient. Function as a RN.
