Minimum Qualifications:
  • Medical degree (e.g., MD, DO, MBBS).
  • 7 years of experience in consumer-focused digital health research and product development focused on consumer health.
  • 7 years of experience driving projects with cross-functional teams.
  • 2 years of experience with AI in a health/healthcare setting.
  • Specialized training in lifestyle medicine or a related specialty, demonstrated by completion of a relevant accredited residency or fellowship, along with board certification, or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with research in generative AI, including safety approaches and peer-reviewed publications.
  • Experience in digital health evaluation and clinical research, including designing and conducting real-world evaluations.
  • Experience working in complex, ambiguous environments with cross-functional teams.
  • Track record of taking a consumer-focused health or wellness product from concept to market.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Recognition as a national leader in lifestyle medicine research and practice.
About the Job

As a Clinical Specialist, you will contribute to developing intelligent and intuitive tools that improve health journeys for users. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software design, engineering, product management, regulatory affairs, and research. Your background as a physician in lifestyle medicine with recognized expertise in clinical care, research, and digital health will guide research and product development, particularly for the Fitbit and Pixel product lines. Your clinical expertise will ensure our approach is scientifically grounded and creates measurable value for users seeking to improve their health and wellbeing.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $171,000-$254,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Salary ranges are role, level, and location-dependent. Individual pay within the range considers work location, skills, experience, and education. Your recruiter will share specific salary details during the hiring process.
