Cumberland County Guidance Center seeks a Clinical Specialist to join the Bridgeton, NJ PACT team. The role supports individuals with severe mental illness through a multidisciplinary approach and recovery-focused care.

Candidates may be pursuing licensure or be licensed professionals. The program offers comprehensive benefits and licensure support within a community-based setting.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related Human Services field.
• Two years of post-bachelor's experience with severe mental illness.
• Knowledge of behavioral health systems and community resources.
• Valid New Jersey driver's license with acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling services.
• Complete psychosocial assessments and crisis evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and recovery plans.

Cumberland County Guidance Center is seeking a Full-Time Clinical Specialist or Licensed Clinical Specialist to join our Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) team in Bridgeton, New Jersey.

Compensation Based on Licensure:

• Clinical Specialist (Non-Licensed Master's Level): $45,000
• Licensed Clinical Specialist (LSW/LAC): $55,000

What You'll Do

As a Clinical Specialist, you'll work closely with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, peer specialists, and community providers to support individuals receiving PACT services.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling services
• Complete psychosocial assessments and crisis evaluations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and recovery plans
• Coordinate care with medical, clinical, and community providers
• Support medication monitoring, treatment adherence, and wellness planning
• Engage family members and natural supports in the recovery process
• Connect individuals with housing, benefits, healthcare, and community resources
• Assist clients in developing independent living and community integration skills
• Participate in community-based interventions and transportation as needed
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
• Participate in the program's on-call rotation schedule

Required Qualifications

Clinical Specialist (Non-Licensed)

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related Human Services field
• Minimum two years of post-bachelor's experience working with individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness
• Knowledge of behavioral health systems and community resources
• Valid New Jersey driver's license with acceptable driving history

Licensed Clinical Specialist

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related Human Services field
• Current New Jersey LSW or LAC license
• Minimum two years of post-bachelor's mental health experience
• Experience working with individuals living with severe and persistent mental illness
• Knowledge of behavioral health systems and community resources
• Valid New Jersey driver's license with acceptable driving history

Preferred Qualifications

• LCSW, LPC, or other advanced clinical licensure
• Experience providing individual and group therapy
• Community mental health experience
• Crisis intervention experience
• Experience working within PACT programs
• Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary treatment teams
• Bilingual English/Spanish
