Job Details

Summary: The Clinical Specialist will work with the Regional Sales Director and Territory Manager within a defined geographic area to meet existing and potential clients (e.g., physicians, physician office groups at hospitals) to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints related to patient care. The role involves discussing and demonstrating how company products can help them achieve their goals and meet patient/client needs. By providing case coverage, the Clinical Specialist will contribute to achieving projected sales goals, company objectives, and increasing sales revenue. Must reside in the Miami Territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the Territory Manager to provide effective case coverage and ensure positive clinical outcomes for patients.
  2. Serve as the primary resource for clinical support, including coverage, troubleshooting, and in-service education for company products.
  3. Educate customers on the benefits and proper clinical usage of company products.
  4. Inform customers about the latest product, therapy, and technology developments in the industry by engaging in procedural and technical discussions.
  5. Demonstrate the ability to connect clinical data to key messaging effectively.
  6. Meet with existing and potential customers to identify their clinical needs, goals, and constraints, providing creative and feasible solutions using company products.
  7. Transfer account knowledge and other relevant information to the local Territory Manager weekly.
  8. Display excellent interpersonal skills and a strong clinical orientation, with the ability to influence various clinician, nurse, and lab technician personalities.
Education and Experience:
  1. BA/BS or equivalent experience preferred. Medical training (RN, cath lab technician, etc.) is preferred.
  2. Minimum of 5+ years of directly related experience; experience in the medical industry is preferred.
  3. Strong clinical orientation, with experience using products in interventional cardiology and/or cardiac surgery, is strongly preferred.
