Asure Wound Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist, Wound Care Supplies to join our team. This remote position is based in the St. Louis area and requires living in the region; travel up to 2.5 hours from the area may be needed.

You will provide clinical expertise to nursing homes and long-term care facilities, develop wound care plans, educate staff, collaborate with other professionals, and monitor progress while staying current with best practices.

Formación

• Active nursing license is required.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in long-term care facilities.
• Wound care certification is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Provide clinical expertise and support to nursing homes and long-term care facilities in wound management.
• Develop and implement wound care plans for residents in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

Asure Wound Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Specialist, Wound Care Supplies to join our team. This is a remote position based in the St. Louis area (you must live in this area) and requires experience working in nursing homes or long-term care facilities as well as a strong background in wound care. The ideal candidate must be comfortable driving distances up to 2.5 hours away.

Starting salary for this position is $75,000/yr

Benefits include: travel reimbursement, paid Holidays, PTO, Health benefits

Shift: Monday - Friday

Wound Care Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical expertise and support to nursing homes and long-term care facilities in the management of wounds and wound-related conditions
• Develop and implement wound care plans for residents in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Educate and train nursing home staff on proper wound care techniques, products and equipment usage
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper wound care is provided in a timely manner
• Monitor and document the progress of wounds and adjust wound care plans as needed
• Maintain current knowledge of best practices in wound care and stay abreast of new developments in the field

Wound Care Requirements:

• Active nursing license
• At least 3 years of nursing experience in nursing homes or long-term care facilities
• Wound care certification preferred
• Strong understanding of wound care principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office
• Must be comfortable driving distances up to 2 hours away
