Clinical Specialist – Laparoscopic Medical Devices (USA)

Territory: Carolinas

We are working with a leading medical device manufacturer focusing on laparoscopic surgical devices is seeking a Clinical Specialist to support the adoption and clinical integration of its advanced device portfolio across the US.

This remote-based, field-facing role is centred on providing real-time case support, clinical training, and ongoing education to gynaecologists, general surgeons, nurses, and laparoscopy techs.

We’re looking for a knowledgeable and hands-on professional with experience in OR procedures who can effectively drive product confidence in fast-paced clinical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-procedure support during laparoscopic cases, ensuring proper technique and product use
  • Conduct on-site training for gynaecologists, general surgeons, nurses, and laparoscopy techs across various care settings
  • Assist with new product evaluations, hospital onboarding, and clinical education programs
  • Act as a subject matter expert on device handling, setup, troubleshooting, and safety
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers and Sales leadership to drive product adoption
  • Support educational events, workshops, and relevant society meetings
  • Document clinical activities, training outcomes, and customer feedback
  • Uphold regulatory compliance and ensure proper usage standards across all engagements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related healthcare field
  • 3+ years of experience working in general surgery, gynaecology, or laparoscopic device support
  • Previous experience supporting laparoscopic products preferred
  • Strong communication and teaching skills with clinical stakeholders
  • Able to travel regionally to support GYN clinics, hospitals, and events
