Job summary

Terumo Neuro is seeking an Associate Specialist, Field Clinical (NYC) to provide technical, clinical, and educational support for all Terumo Neuro products in the New York area.

The role involves training physicians and hospital staff, supporting product evaluations, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant case files. Travel to hospitals is required to support neurovascular procedures and clinical case coverage.

Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of experience in the Angio-Suite or equivalent interventional procedures with neuro endovascular therapies preferred.
  • R.T. CV, VI, CI, R.N., or Endovascular/Cardiac background acceptable.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical case support to physicians and hospital staff for neurovascular procedures using Terumo Neuro products.
  • Conduct training sessions and education programs for physicians and hospital staff on new technologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the North American Sales team to support product evaluations and clinical in-services.
  • Develop understanding of Terumo Neuro products in neurovascular procedures.
  • Complete administrative tasks and maintain HIPAA-compliant case files.
  • Communicate with Territory Sales Managers to support business outcomes.

Associate Specialist, Field Clinical (NYC)

Salary: $87,329 - $114,619 plus a robust, performance driven variable structure that rewards your success. (Financial compensation packages may be higher/lower than listed, & will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand)

Deliver technical, clinical, and educational support for all Terumo Neuro products. Conduct training sessions and provide case support to physicians and hospital staff. Additionally, collaborate with the North American sales team and demonstrate a strong understanding of neurovascular procedures to enhance overall product effectiveness and patient outcomes.

What You'll be Doing
  • Provide clinical case support to physicians and hospital support staff for neurovascular procedures using Terumo Neuro products, ensuring adherence to instructions for use and best practices for optimal safety and effectiveness.
  • Facilitate educational and technical trainings for physicians and hospital support staff, focusing on best practices for the initial use of new technologies and ensuring the safe and effective application of all Terumo Neuro products.
  • Collaborate with the North American Sales team to provide optimal technical and clinical support for product evaluations, new physician users, clinical in-services, and educational programs for all Terumo Neuro products.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the appropriate application of all Terumo Neuro products in neurovascular procedures.
  • Support evaluations of new products through education and clinical case support.
  • Complete assigned administrative tasks promptly and thoroughly, including, but not limited to, trunk stock scans, expense reports, and other duties as directed by the clinical leadership team.
  • Ensure the organization and maintenance of relevant files containing anonymized, HIPAA-compliant case images and documents.
  • Communicate frequently and effectively with local and regional Territory Sales Managers to best support business outcomes through strategic collaboration.
Required Qualifications
  • Technical, associate, or bachelor's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) CV, VI, CI, Registered Nurse (R.N.) or Endovascular, Cardiac background with a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the Angio-Suite (or equivalent) interventional procedures, with experience in neuro endovascular therapies as a technologist or nurse preferred.
  • Knowledge of complete vascular anatomy (cardiovascular system) and physiology with an extensive focus on knowledge of neuro anatomy and physiology.
  • Capability and flexibility to travel to hospitals and participate in clinical case coverage.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of effectively interfacing/communicating with all MV associates and customers.
  • Moderate computer and iPad skills with working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and maintaining customer databases.
  • Extremely reliable and dependable.
  • Neurovascular/Peripheral catheterization knowledge, techniques, and skills.
  • Ability to recognize normal and abnormal disease processes as they relate to clinical cases and the use of Terumo Neuro products.
  • Ability to effectively articulate product use, concepts, outcomes, and clinical advantages.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work both as a team and autonomously.
