Job summary

University of California - Los Angeles Health is actively seeking compassionate Clinical Social Workers II or III to join our multidisciplinary patient-care teams in Los Angeles. You will provide social work assessments, referrals, and interventions to improve patient and family outcomes.

Knowledge of mandated reporting and collaboration with medical staff is essential. CSW 2 Salary range: $53.74-$64.20 hourly; CSW 3 Salary range: $58.41-$69.80 hourly.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or social welfare required.
• CA Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or license eligible.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Excellent communication, relationship building and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise with psychosocial assessments, clinical interventions, and treatment planning.
• Knowledge of Child Abuse, Elder and Dependent Adult Abuse, Neglect and Domestic Violence treatment, interventions, and reporting protocols.
• Commitment to patient and family centered care, and understanding of cultural differences and diversity.
• Ability to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to participate in at least one area of specialized practice annually.
• Computer proficiency.

• Participate in interdisciplinary activities while pursuing quality improvement, accurate record keeping, and adherence to policies/procedures.
• Remain current with specific professional knowledge and pursue further enhancement of job-related expertise.
