Job summary

Women In Need (Win) in New York seeks a compassionate Client Care Coordinator (LMSW or LMHC) to provide clinical services in our Transitional Housing programs. You will assess needs, offer counseling, crisis support, and connect clients to long-term community resources.

You will collaborate with shelter staff and external partners to promote housing stability and recovery. LMSW/LMHC licensing must be obtained within 90 days of employment and maintained throughout employment.

Qualifications

• Licensing as LMSW or LMHC required within 90 days of hire.
• Experience working with homeless adults and at-risk populations.
• Strong assessment and counseling skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify client needs and develop service recommendations
• Provide short-term counseling, crisis intervention, and supportive clinical services
• Facilitate therapeutic groups, workshops, and education programs
• Connect clients to community-based mental health and medical services
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners for coordinated services
• Identify and respond to high-risk situations (DV, mental health, substance use, child welfare)
• Support children and families through observations, planning, referrals, and trauma-informed interventions
• Advocate for clients navigating systems and resources
