Job summary

Jackson Health System in Miami seeks a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide professional social work services in correctional health settings, supervising subordinate social workers and coordinating inpatient and outpatient casework.

You will design treatment plans, conduct counseling, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in VOCA Trauma Recovery Network activities, and support discharge planning while ensuring compliance with clinical standards.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• Generally requires 5 to 7 years of related experience.
• Florida Licensure from the ASWB or Mental Health Counseling is required.

Responsibilities

• Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary staff to design and implement appropriate treatment plans, including discharge plans.
• Provides professional counseling and therapeutic intervention to patients and/or families.
• Collaborates with community agencies which provide services for adults and their families.
• Leads or co-leads patients groups as needed.
• Submits statistical reports as required.
• Participates in orientation and training of social work and interdisciplinary staff.
• Participates on research projects as required for program planning and evaluation.
• Maintains current knowledge of social work practice including knowledge of bio-psychosocial issues of adults.
• Provides coverage as assigned.
