Job summary

Brattleboro Retreat is seeking a Clinical Social Worker to provide crucial clinical and case management services. This role involves working closely with patients and their families to enhance their social functioning and assure their reintegration into suitable communities.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work or a related field, 1-2 years of experience, and be registered with the State of Vermont. The position requires flexibility in a 40-hour workweek, with day shifts from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• One to two years of inpatient social work experience preferred.
• Must be registered as Social Worker I with the State of Vermont Office of Professional Regulation.
• Flexible 40-hour workweek required.
• Must have some working knowledge of computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care to patients based on treatment plans.
• Conduct individual psychotherapy to address clinical issues.
• Facilitate group therapy to promote individual growth.
• Conduct patient/family assessments and participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning.
• Document all interactions in social work progress notes.
