Job Description and Duties

Under the supervision of the Senior Psychologist or Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker, the Clinical Social Worker conducts assessments, develops treatment plans, provides therapy, documents progress, and coordinates placements with community resources. The role involves diagnosing, treatment planning, and collaborating within an interdisciplinary team to support the rehabilitation and mental health of incarcerated individuals.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
• Master's degree in social work from an accredited program approved by the Council on Social Work Education.

Note: Unlicensed individuals may be eligible for a limited employment period if they are in the process of obtaining licensure, with specific conditions and time limits.
