Job summary

Queens-Long-Island Renal Institute, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking a Full-Time Social Worker with a strong background in Renal Social Work to join our interdisciplinary team in the dialysis unit.

The Social Worker will support patients and families to maximize social functioning and adjustment for End Stage Renal Disease, with LMSW preferred and LCSW a plus; two years of experience required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Social Worker in New York State; LMSW required; LCSW a plus.
• At least two (2) years of prior work experience as a Social Worker.
• Prior experience as a Dialysis Social Worker or working with dialysis patients.

Responsibilities

• The Social Worker provides services in the dialysis unit to patients and their families to support and maximize the social functioning and adjustment of the patient with End Stage Renal Disease.

Queens-Long Island Renal Institute, located on the lobby level of the renowned Parker Jewish Institute for Healthcare and Rehabilitation in New Hyde Park, New York, is seeking a Full-Time Social Worker, with a strong background in Renal Social Work, to join our team of professionals.

QLIRI provides state-of-the-art in-center hemodialysis treatment for kidney disease patients. Our experienced interdisciplinary team of nephrologists and renal nurses offer chronic dialysis services in a comfortable and modern setting.
